I'm having a lot of fun with these black and negative space nails. They are so clean and glamorous. 

Tequila Sunrise

These nails are inspired by the drink, Tequila Sunrise. Instead of doing a gradient like the drink, I went with dry brushing.

Summer is still blazing away, which means bright, fruit-themed manis are still appropriate.

Halloween nails are my favorite!!! They speak to my inner dark soul :) And how can you not love a holiday that revolves around ghosts and candy!

Pantone Petals

Here is my take on Pantone's colors of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity.  Add some flower charms, pearls, and rhinestones for a ethereal mani.

Plaid Clad

I love plaid in the fall.  Plaid shirts, plaid scarves, and of course plaid nails!  I've done plaid stamped nails before, but I decided to do some hand-painted ones this time.

Foiled Feathers

If you follow me on Instagram, then these are the nails I was talking about the other day.  I did a monochromatic base, then added some holo feather foil on top.  

Batman

Another DC Comics nail design, inspired by playing cards from World Market.  Last time I did Wonder Woman, and now it is Batman!  Of the DC Comics, Batman is my favorite.  I always liked that he was just a normal person (well, "normal" in the sense that he didn't have superpowers), but he was still a superhero.

Pretty Plaid

A simple stamped mani for today.  The last time I did a plaid look, I went bold, so this time I decided on a softer look with mint and pink polish and a silver glitter accent nail.

Floral Filigree

This floral lace design is perfect for the spring season.  I paired a pale baby blue polish with a vibrant orange for a nice contrast, and added some gold detailing.

April Showers

...Bring May flowers.  Although here in California, we are still in a bit of a drought and haven't had much rain this month like we normally do.  But even though it feels closer to summer than spring, this little umbrella stamped design was too cute to pass up.

Super Mario Brothers

Like most kids born in the 80's, I grew up playing Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo.  I've wanted to do a Mario nail design for a while, and since my parents recently unearthed my old Nintendo console while cleaning the garage, I thought now was the perfect time.

I Donut Care

DONUTS!!!!  I could eat them everyday.  Although then I'd be shaped like one.  So I'll have to settle for donut nails...which still look delicious and make me want to eat donuts.  Ahhh!

Leopard Love

Leopard print may look tricky, but it is one of the easiest animal prints to paint.  The design doesn't have to be perfect, and the more imperfect and messy, the better.  And it looks great in any color!  I chose an apricot and gold look for a fab feminine look.

Must Love Dogs

Just a cute simple mani today.  I painted these nails because my parent's dog (whose Instagram account I run @gracie_the_boxerpit), was tagged to do a paw picture for #purinalendapaw.  You post a pic holding your pet's paw with that hashtag, and Purina will donate a bowl of food to a shelter. 

Party Pink

I received a request for some birthday themed nails, so here is the first look.  This bright pink mani is perfect for any party or birthday party.
